about

The much-loved barndance ‘If There Weren’t Any Women in the World’ was learned from the playing of Paddy Killoran, who recorded it in 1938. ‘The Stack of Oats’ was recorded by the Philadelphia-based, Erin’s Pride Orchestra, in 1948. The ‘Hypothetical Eventuality of a Global Absence of XX Chromosomes’ makes a final appearance to conclude the album.
